Born in Alexandria in January 1948, received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1971 and a Master of Fine Arts.
– PHD of Philosophy in printed design in 1983 (photography as a tool of formation in printed design).
– Lecturer in the faculty of fine arts and progressed as a member of the educational staff from 1971 to 1988.
– Founder of the first center for graphic arts and separating colors in Alexandria to spread artistic awareness 1984 2024
– A cons Bibliotheca Alexandria of design and printing from 2001 to 2005 he founded Graphic unite.
– He participated in many international exhibitions from 1971 till now and held seventeen private exhibitions in Egypt and abroad.
– He won the 12th, 13th, and 22nd Alexandria International Biennial Awards General Exhibition Awards 1981, 1982, 1984 First Prize in Engraving.
– Egypt in the Eyes of Artists Competition 1986 Certificate of Appreciation for the 18th Alexandria International Biennale 1994.
– He acquired many private collections in Jordan the United Arab Emirates Kuwait Saudi Arabia Germany England Italy Sweden Egypt.
