Tasneem Bahr is a Cairo-based visual artist specializing in oil painting. Her practice explores social issues and emotional states through surreal visual language, focusing on themes of disconnection, isolation, uncertainty, and the relationship between the self and its surroundings. She approaches oil painting as a space for slow reflection, using layered surfaces and symbolic imagery to examine contemporary experiences and moments of emotional and psychological distance. Her work moves between contemplation and visual tension, inviting viewers to reflect on their own experiences and perceptions.Tasneem Bahr is a Cairo-based visual artist specializing in oil painting.
